Superintendent's Message

As your Superintendent, it is my goal to assist our schools in becoming a top tiered educational institute.  I believe in the Russellville community; its students, families, and staff and its ability to be a top tiered instructional system.  It is my tremendous honor to work and live in this community and assist our young people in reaching their goals.

Partnering with our Parents and Community in the education process will be a priority this year.  The RISD, recently developed a Strategic Plan that we will be using to measure our successes and/or failures against throughout this year and the years to come. Creating a culture of learning starts with people and we understand that this means retaining, recruiting, and empowering staff to be their best.  In addition, the pursuit of excellence requires investment in not only people, but the necessary facilities and resources that reflect the pride and commitment our board has in our students and its community.
