Community Outreach

The Director of Districtwide Programs at Russellville Independent School District (RISD) is dedicated to building and maintaining strong relationships between the school district and the community. This role involves coordinating events, developing partnerships with local organizations, facilitating communication between the district and community members, and promoting the district’s initiatives and successes. The Director of Districtwide Programs works closely with students, families, staff, and community partners to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment.

 

Office Purpose

The purpose of the Districtwide Programs Office is to foster a strong connection between the school district and the community. By engaging with community members, promoting district events, and building partnerships, we aim to create a supportive network that enhances the educational experience for all students. Our efforts are focused on celebrating our heritage, embracing innovation, and providing student-centered experiences that make RISD the District of Choice.

 

Our Goals

Our goals are to strengthen the connection between RISD and the community, celebrate our shared heritage, and support student success through active community involvement. We aim to:

    • Increase community participation in school events and initiatives.
    • Develop and maintain partnerships with local organizations and businesses.
    • Enhance communication between the district and the community to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
    • Promote a positive image of the district and celebrate our achievements.
